The Thrift Chique is Now Officially Open! ~ First Collection

Finally! The Thrift Chique is now open! My plan of opening an online clothes shop is now slowly being fulfilled. I've had this plan for quite some time now but haven't really gotten around to actually do it. I asked people I know who have tried their hand at this and told me that it's quite lucrative. So hey! I'm going to give it a shot.

Why 'The Thrift Chique'? I wanted something easy to remember and most of what I sell are thrifted finds (ukay-ukay). Thrift hunting has been my newly discovered favorite hobby. You just don't know what you will find! I admit that there were items that I did not sell because they were too gorgeous to let go (sorry!). But I'm really trying my best to control myself and only offer the best from my picks.

Now on to my favorite picks from the first collection:

I have a thing for pencil skirts, especially if you wear it high- waist style. It just looks so classy and sophisticated. Pencil skirts are really versatile (depending on the color). Like this pink one, you can wear a neutral blouse and can blend in a corporate meeting just fine. You can also look preppy with this and a puffed sleeve or a bustier top. This is how I wore this pink pencil skirt:

Next, I call this one the "nifty skirt". The "nifty" thing about this skirt is it's reversible! one side is plain black and the other is polka- dots. It's like buying 2 skirts in one! If you're tired with plain black just flip it over and voila!

This is how I wore it with a top from the collection:

This next number is a classy black one- piece romper with a cute detail. You can tie it at the side to cinch up the waist. I initially thought this was a Little Black Dress but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a romper. Again, I like how it can be really versatile; you can wear it in the office or out on a party.

And last, I really love this floral- textured tube top. Pair it with a pencil skirt and you're good to go.

So there you go! I hope you will enjoy this first collection as much as I enjoyed hunting for them.

And oh! Since its TTC's opening and Im just so darn happy about this whole thing, TTC's first customers can choose one of these as a freebie!
